Our chapel fits 16 seated guests plus the couple + officiant for a total of 19. For bigger weddings of 17-32 seated guests, your wedding will take place outside with our chapel as your backdrop. A total number of 35 (this includes the couple + officiant) are allowed at each event. Children under 3 are welcome to join us on your lap. Photographers are excluded. However, if they are part of your guest list, they must be added to the guest count. No additional guests may be added.
You have the option for ceremony only or you can add a cake reception following your ceremony. Please see our packages for pricing and contact us for more details.
A traditional approach to an intimate, relaxed reception where guests are served with cake, drinks and light bites. Given the timeframe of cake receptions, we do not allow alcohol. All food must be prepared offsite and brought by you or a caterer. Given our organic setting, we recommend having room temperature or cold foods. Upon booking, we provide a sample menu for ideas.
Cake receptions generally do not have dancing. However, during your ceremony, brides/grooms can handpick their music and send it to our wedding coordinator. All music is played through Spotify. You are welcome to have first dances. Any special requests, please speak to our wedding coordinator.
You can contact us however you'd like! We do, however, recommend contacting us by phone or by sending a message via Facebook. We require a phone consultation prior to any bookings to go over all the details with you, a 50% down deposit and contract signing. Wolfgate is booked seasonally. Our opening date is May 22, 2026, and we will remain open until November 15, 2026. Our hours of operation are Mon-Sun 10AM- 5PM.
Clear umbrellas are supplied to all guests. Our covered reception area can be used if you are having a larger wedding of 17-32 guests. Our chapel comfortably seats 16 guests for a total of 19 (with couple and officiant).
Wheelchairs are not recommended given our wooded setting. However, we’re more than happy to assist guests to the ceremony site if needed. It is a short walk (330ft) from our parking site.
Yes!
Yes! We highly recommend doing a ceremony rehearsal 30 or so days prior to your ceremony. This allows you the opportunity to practice walking down the aisle to the music of choice and see our space to envision your special day. The earlier you schedule a ceremony rehearsal, the better chances of getting your preferred date and time. Most rehearsals take place Mon-Thur. If weekends are your only option, we will do our very best to accommodate you. Please bear in mind that most of our weddings are scheduled for weekends. If you're traveling out of state to have your wedding with us, we will come up with a plan prior to your wedding.
We have a small cabin for the bride to change and/or have hair and makeup done. It is heated and cooled. The cabin is very small and will only accommodate two people at a time. Currently, we do not have accommodation for the wedding party. They will need to come prepared.
